Wow! I saw a show on Animal Planet abut bee eaters. Fascinating birds they are! I found it interesting how they squeeze the bee to remove the venom before they eat it.

great shots! someof them would benefit from a shorter depth of field and therefore more seperatiion between the bird and its background, and some could be sharper, but you have captured them beautifully!

I like the composition on all of them but, my personal opinion is they are a tad soft. The only two I really like are No. 3 due to the light on the body and the catch light in the eye and No. 5 for the texture on the feathers and again the clarity on the eye.

Love the bee eaters ...... looks like you had willing subjects. Have to agree on the previous comments on "softness" ...... With bird photography (and most wildlife) it is all about the eye. It has to be sharp, needs the catch light (glint).
