These little suckers really seem to get fast in warm weather. Plus, I think they know I'm snapping their photos, which translates to....lots of shutter trips and few decent shots....

Great shot, Ernesto! :thumbsup: The males are certainly more easily frightened than the females. If you managed one keeper out of twenty ( unless you have a special set-up with a BG & multiple flashes ), you're doing better than average, IMO!

What you are is so loud, I can't hear a word you say!

Ernesto - Unless you set up speed light traps and other high end "stuff" your method is how most of us photograph hummers. Great capture, love the bokeh!

I spend a LOT of time attempting to get THE shot - hasn't happened yet. I agree with Bob, very nice capture with a background that makes the bird stand out! Keep shooting and posting! :)
