I've been following your photos and just amazed with how close you make it seem you are to the animals.  I get it, crazy zoom lens, but still cool shots

Thanks this one was 340mm so not really a big zoom. Ive got shots with 100mm and shorter before sometimes even had to switch to a wide or standard when something walks right up to the side of the vehicle

Hard to believe I know but sometimes an animal will come right up to the vehicle and walk along the side or front so a wide is gives you not only the full animal but is also more forgiving in focusing then anything longer especially when the animal is continuously moving
