D600 or D700 would be a great buy. Congrats on the schooling. I'm going back myself and know how much work it can be.

The D200 is still awesome after all these years!!!Got the D7000 and it`s going great,one of the treats is that for wildlife you can crop and still have a large file size.
Have fun Barry but sometimes the ec will change by itself and mess up your shoot so be careful.
You can get a Ir converted camera from keh at a better price than having it converted.
