Is a shiny new Nikon D4 on your wish list?

I've been reading the reviews and watching everything I can find, this camera is a work of engineering art.

I'm putting some serious thought into picking up one of these in Feb!

If I didn't already have a D3s I'd be really interested. If I had the money NOW I'd be really interested. As it is, not so much.

I'm slightly more interested in how the D800 will turn out.

You think the D800 will have some of the same video goodies that the D4 has?

You should get all the agents them so we can do reviews.

I agree with this statement.

Also, I bet I end up getting one eventually. I'm just like that. ;)

Actually I've been waiting and waiting for a D700 replacement.

D4 or D800 all depends on the high ISO of the D800. I know it's 36MP and therefore the same pixel pitch as the D7000, but I'm banking on some sensor magic and hopefully in camera pixel binning to put the high iso equal or better to the D700. I know if I took 36MP and compressed it down to 12MP it would be better than the D700, but who needs those extras steps. ;)

Not me. I'm already dreaming of the "rumored" D5, 60 mp, 80fps, useable ISO to 1638400 and other neat stuff, all for under $2500.00.....:P

Why so serious?

Its on my wish list but unaffordable at the moment, A D700 by the end of the year is achievable, then maybe an upgrade in a bout 5 years time, unless of course a lotto win hits me. :judge: :judge: :judge:

I have a D3 and a D3s; however, if I can figure out a way to swing it, I want a D4 as well. I guess I like to have the latest available. Same way with computers.

Would love one but doubt it is going to improve my photos.
