here's photo of a child and her mother.... whats your opinion on the composition??? and feel free to give your good advise..... thanks

While the background is acceptably soft, your depth of focus is so shallow that even the girl's right arm is quite blurred. Without changing your aperture, you could have moved back enough to ensure the girl was in focus, and the mother a bit less so, and then cropped to this composition, if that's what you were trying for. This way the blurry image of the mother distracts too much from the whole

:agree: Good review, John I was trying to figure out what bothered me about ti and you nailed it.

Agreed, I think that in our quest for bokeh we can sometimes lose a little of the impact that a subject in sharp focus can make. Beautiful girl BTW.
