Me & a Fallow Deer

This was one of the most Awesome experiences of my life. My son took this pic last summer while we were at a wildlife sanctuary, wouldn't I love to have the chance to work or volunteer there so I could spend more time with them. I haven't had very many opportunities to feed wildlife from my hand, although I did feed a wild porcupine apple slices several years ago. But That's another story. :) Fallow Deer are incredibly friendly and I also learned that they love M&M's. This was Sooo much fun, what a precious little creature !! :)

I saw this one "that other social network" and thought it was so gentle.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

Thank you all, I'm hoping to get back over to visit the deer again soon-the wildlife sanctuary is only about 25 min. from my house. This was definately one of the AWWW moments, I never thought I'd be This close to a deer before and he wanted to be loved, he wasn't one bit afraid. Now how sweet is that?! :)
