I'm sure that it is.. I had to use the auto WB setting since I lost my gray card in the flood. I'm not really sure what setting works best white these new spiral bulbs. The tungsten setting seems to blue & the incandesiant comes out to yellow.

Is the wall behind suposed to be white? If not, go by the bucket edge.

The wall is a very pale gray. It would be nice if Canon had nice big view screen like Nikon does, it would be much better for previewing so I know which way to go with the settings.

WB is a simple fix in post. In RAW use the WB tool and click on anything white (or gray) and in Ps use the middle eye dropper in Levels.

If Levels goes too far, go to Edit and Fade.

I don't think the background necessarily enhances the photo, but I wonder if gray is a hard color to get accurate. I think too I'd like this better if the subject was smiling and seemed to be having fun instead of looking pretty serious, even kind of apprehensive rather than enjoying the experience.
