I, personally, would not choose to render that way but
this is matter of taste… so it is no mistake of yours.

Light is free… capturing it is not!

I think you're lighting on the first and second shots is most successful. The split lighting on the fourth and fifth come across a bit
harsh, although it's a bit softer in the fifth. The split lighting on four and five doesn't work for me. And you've got something on camera left (based on catchlights) but it doesn't seem to be helping with the shadows. Your light placement on five is better (some light on her right cheek.

I think your processing on one and three is interesting and well done. Two, four, and five are kinda dull for me, but well done. Six strikes me as somewhat retro.

Still don't like that fifty for portraits. Would love to see your work with an 85.
