It's not cool to spam.

BTW, if this was a true giveaway on facebook, then why is the link you posted from a blog?

it's not spam.
They've asked us to post on our favorite forum to get the word out there about the giveaway!
This is my favorite forum site so I wanted to share with you guys so everyone would have the chance to win!

No offense but you just became a member. :welcomeclan BTW.

"They" are spamming and using you to carry the mail. The "fantastic" giveaway is some of their product which is most likely not anything I could use.

Come on in and enjoy the company here and you will learn that a lot of us take photos just like these. While we welcome your presence and want to see your work and hear your opinions, presents (bad pun intentional) like this is really not needed... IMHO of course.

Apparently LoveByCC is a lady who makes hand-made baby items and props or photographers. Just not an appropriate advertising method. The "favorite forum" is a stretch for a newcomer.

The OP has been deleted.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

That actually made me laugh. This is your favorite forum, yet the first post you made...was this one. If it's your favorite you should have been posting a long time ago.

Whoever they are...ask to post on your favorite forum because it's part of advertising...which if done in a wrong way is part of spamming.

Not totally a waste... Let this thread serve as a warning to all those spammers yet to come. We should be spam free for the foreseeable future... This might even be true tomorrow too. :woohoo:

I'm with you Crystal, for someone to register on the board just to post a link to promote something - and then pretend it's their 'favorite' forum - how lame! Jan you got that right. Go get 'em Chas! LOL
