Pets or Babies?

I think I'm a fairly good photography and have decided to try to make some money from it. In my mind the best way to establish a reputation is to specialize. I'd like to go one of two ways - babies or pets.

Is there someone out there with experience in both fields that can tell me where the most money is?

My guess would be the babies, parents want good photographers to capture the moments of their young ones.

Are you good with kids and babies? Are you a animal whisper? Which one are you strongest at? That is where I would focus your efforts.

I agree. You have to ask you these questions that Travel nut mention.
Do kids and babies like you, do you like them? If you do not like children, they will sense that. The same thing with pets. Dogs and cats can sense you are uncomfortable around them. Think about it, which one are you better at photographing?

100% agree. In order to be good at something, you need to enjoy it. If you don't like animals or you don't like kids. You won't be truly successful at it IMHO.

To actualy answer the question, there is no difference whatsoever, there as many folk out there with pets as there are with children and they all like photographs, but I have to agree with everyone so far they have to like you as much as you like them or its a no goer
