How many PT members are shooting weddings?

I see lots of very interesting photos of all types here at Photography Talk.

I am curious, how many of you shoot weddings? Do you shoot them regularly?
What do you think about the direction of the wedding industry?
I would really like to hear your thoughts.

If you are out there week after week shooting them, or if it is your first, I would love to see you post them!

(Over the past 20 years, I have shot more than I can imagine. Things have really changed since the days of my Bronica SQ!)

Not I. I have no desire too. I attended one wedding of a friend and I watch the photographer and videographer and it seems to be a very hectic day for them. I really can't imagine having that kind of job.

It's my full time job. I do some portrait and commercial work too, and manage to sell personal work occasionally, but weddings are my bread and butter. There are a few wedding photos in an album at my PT profile, and several thousand in my website galleries.

I used to shoot with Nikon FM2ns, a Hasselblad 500 c/m, and a Pentax 67II. Now I'm using Canon 5DIIs. I was reluctant to go digital at first, but now I love it. I can't imagine going back to the limitations of film.

nearly 90% of what keeps me busy is weddings. My thoughts on the industry is the seasoned wedding photographers will need to need to stream line time more and more to keep competitive with price shopping brides!

Canon 7D w/grip, Canon 40D, Canon 70-200mm f2.8 IS L Canon MPE 65mm f2.8 macro; Sigma 70-300mm f2.8; Sigma 150mm f2.8 macro; Sigma 8-16mm f4.5-5.6

Proud wedding photographer. My opinion of the industry is just keep your skills up and you'll always have referrals.

I seem to get more wedding and portrait work these days. I have been lucky enough to get some commercial work too, but the bread and butter has been with wedding and portraits. I think as long as people keep getting married the industry will be around for a very long time. ;)
