Other than Nikon who makes a good teleconverter for Nikon cameras?

Kenko the Pro Series, dont bother with the lower end.

Thanks for the heads up, I hadn't noticed a difference. I was looking on Ebay and there are a few different companies making them, but I wasn't sure on a few. Thanks again.

You don't say what lens you want to use it on, or what power TC you are looking at. (1.4x,1.7x or 2x)...Even with 3rd party brands, there are some combinations that should be avoided as you can possibly damage your lens when attempting to use it, or there may be limitations to using it (MF only, etc)...Joves hit the nail on the head though as the Kenko Pro series are the better ones out there. They will cost more money although not as costly as Nikon's offerings.

Promaster makes a good set in 1.4 or 2x. :)

Personally I would just stick with the Nikon 1.4 or 1.7
