CD & DVD label question for clients

12 years 6 months ago #159785 by Hamtastic
Reading another thread reminded me about this. I have been wanting to get a professional print on my CD's that I give to my clients. Something other than a "slicker" is there a special printer that will do this and have it look like the CD came from a store? You know what I mean?

All of the under $1000 Epson Photo printers from the Artisan 50 up to the R3000 can print directly onto inkjet-printable CDs or DVDs. I use the 1400 model and previously used an earlier model basic printer with this function. The process is simple and the results are good. The overall effect is dependent more on your design skills than the printer's capabilities. The provided design software is easy to use. i wouldn't want to print large runs this way but it's good for small quantities.

Not only will printers print on CDs, but you can get a CD drive for your computer with Lightscribe which will write directly on the CD for your label.
