How would you rate your skills as a photographer?

Well I would say I am a newbie to landscape & archeticture, experienced in portraiture (used to work in a pro studio for a few years & freelance for the last 5 years), seasoned veteran in both digital post processing & printing. (I also worked in the printing industry for almost 14 yrs.) However I am nowhere where I want to be as an overall photographer. So I would guess my overall score would be a 4?

I would rather others rated me but for the sake of this thread I am possibly around an 8

Some days I seem to be a -5 and others I can be a 5. But then I dont really rate myself, I leave it for others to decide.

I have been doing this on and off for 20 yrs. I know way less than I thought I did the more I learn. I would say 3-4. That is all aspects, some I am better at the others, but on average I would say 3-4. Tomorrow I hope to be better than I am today.

I'm not sure how to answer this but if I have to say honestly I would have to say... 4. Maybe? I don't know. I have experience under my belt but I still have much to learn.

I'd say that's fair, from the pictures you post here. But even if your photography was a 4, you deserve at least an 11 for making a Spinal Tap reference.

LOL thanks for the vote of confidence and yes all Spinal Tap references automatically give you a rating of 11.
