I just got offered a Lensbaby composer for $150 from a friend. For a used composer would you spend $150 on it?

Like with a lot of things, I guess it depends on if you think you'd get $150 worth of use out of it; that seems like it might be a fair price. I think they make different versions of it so the price new could vary. The value probably varies with condition and whether or not it has the caps etc.

You could probably search online and see how much people are selling them for (although that seems to vary, I've seen items listed way under value or way over priced). Mine are an Original and a 2.0 and they weren't as expensive as the ones they make now. Mine were maybe $50 used but were closer to $100 new. (If I remember right, it's been too long ago to know for sure.)

Thanks for the advice, I just found some on ebay that I'm bidding on. See if I can't get a better price.

$150 is a really good price, seeing how much lensbabys go for to begin with.
