Airliner - anything smaller and I would have been a lot closer to the mountains.Dan Dangerfield wrote:

That mountain photo is cool, was that taken in a commercial airline or something smaller?
When i worked for Flathead National Forest in northwest Montana, they flew me and a couple others into a remote area to fight a forest fire and the plane was a tiny single engine 4 seater (including pilot). It was an amazing ride and as you said, It was very low to the ground. The mountains were all around 7k to 9k feet and we were flying around 10k. It was SLOW too. I was astonished when i heard we were only flying at about 25-30mph. I would love to get my pilots license and buy a small plane.Rob pix4u2 wrote:

That sounds like a good time. If you can find them that would be nice to see.Screamin Scott wrote: I had a friend whose coworker had his pilots license. Back in July 1976 we flew over the Inner Harbor in Baltimore to photograph the "Tall Ships" that were touring the East Coast in honor of the 200th anniversary of the country...It was a small 4 seater Cessna (I think) that had the wing over top the cabin. We took off from Glen L Martin field in East Baltimore, flew over the Inner Harbor, then went north & flew over the pilots neighbor's house. Actually, he buzzed the house & also did a loop the loop. His father was a judge & lived in ritzy section of the county. Anyway, we stopped at a small air park in Essex to gas up & my best friend (one of 4 people on the plane, 3 of which were taking photos) refused to get back on the plane (he almost lost his breakfast on the loop the loop). Had to fly back to Martin Field & then drive back to Essex to pick him up...Still have those negatives somewhere. I should dig them out if I can find them...Small planes are neat !!

LOL make up your mind dude.
Personally I don't have a favourite season. Winter for the colours I suppose, Christmas lights that is.
