Let's have some Friday fun. Post in here if you have ever purchased something (photography related) because you bought into the media of how this product was so needed, only to find out it was all hype, not to mention useless.

Well it wasnt advertisement that got me to buy it. When I had my P&S many years back I bought one of those table tripods, that was the most worthless thing I ever got. I have always been pretty tight fisted about purchases myself when it comes to equipment. Does not mean I am cheap it is just I usually get quality things and only when I need them.

A cheap Travel Tripod because I was too lazy to haul around my Dad's old Slik.

Don't pi$$ me off, I am running out of room to store the bodies...

One word for you: Tripod :toocrazy:

I always use my tripod when needed. I'm no pro, I just find myself not using my monopod and always using my tripod.

Got to love the sarcasm in here. Support is something that many seem to think they do not need and wonder why they dont get tack sharp photos. I use both my monopod and my tripods.

Gary Fong Puffer, but that was only 20 bucks or so. Bought it 2 weeks after I started in photography. ;)

It is what it is.
