Hmm I dunno about workshops in your area but I can give you a couple tips that were given to me. I was supposed to have a job with a virtual tour company and did some sample shots to get accepted... then the company kinda never took off. But anyway...

Turn all the lights on and open all the windows.
Shoot panoramas vertically with a decent amount of overlap. (everyone thinks since you are doing panoramic you should shoot horizontally but vertically is actually better so you get more of the room in the shot).
Of course you wanna sell the houses best features so be extra sure to get things like fire places, patios, or anything that makes it stand out looking the best.

There are probably books on the topic too.

I don't think there is workshops on real estate photography. Lets get serious here, there are realtors who know nothing about photography, that take their point and shoot to homes to take a couple pics to post in the listings. Some of those photos really suck and some are not bad, but one does not need to take a work shop on real estate photography. Just start taking pictures around your home to practice. Make sure you understand lighting. Have a fast lens.

There are plenty of books and I'm sure there are courses on taking photos of structures and buildings. I can see these courses being useful to some to learn how to frame up certain shots to make them more complimenting. If your selling a 2 million dollar estate, those point and shoot camera shots that might work for the trailer park homes won't cut it for the people looking to buy that estate. There is a market and need for just about anything out there. I just depends on what side of the tracks are you on.

Exactly what I was going to say. To the OP, how about just architectural photography books too, if you wanna get into the real fancy stuff!
