What other photographers have influenced you the most?

There's a photographer that did this picture. I can't remember his name, but he's awesome.

and the last glass of champagne has been drunk
All that you are left with are the memories and the images-David Cooke.

He does a lot of photography like this. It's really dark and surreal. I love it, and I can't remember his name.

Andrzej Dragan, his work is exceptional he's kinda like a dark version of Dan Winters (who's work is my fave!).

It is what it is.

I've never considered who my influences were. Hard to say. There are many photographers past and present I've admired for various reasons though.

Darius Kinsey
Edward S. Curtis (probably most dedicated photographer ever)
Ansel Adams (iconic. First photo-manipulator, you could say)
Steve McCurry (portrait master)
Trey Ratcliff (got me interested in HDR)
Ed Roppo (mesmerizing interiors)
Thomas Shahan (macro work)

Adams, McCurry are also faves of mine. But I think that the MOST influencial for me was Ralph Gifford. Gifford's work on Oregon, Washington and other western states is hard to beat, My grandpa has a collection of postcards and prints done by Gifford that will be mine someday. I grew up admiring his work and its really surprising that I didn't get into photography until just a couple years ago.

It is what it is.

I like Gifford's work as well, along with Kinsey he captured the great logging era very well. The pacific Northwest has a long history of great naturalist photographers, a tradition that's carried on today.

You may like Zeb Andrews too, he's a talent in your area that works in virtually every medium. He's starting to get well known for his fine-art work.

He'd be 122. He was born in 1889.
