Optech rainsleeve

I need some rain gear for my camera, are these Optech rainsleeves a one time use or can they be used a few times before tossing them? I see they come in packs of 2. I'm just curious how long they last, how durable they are?

You should post a link. I have one that is not disposable, but honestly I rarely use it. Protects the camera and a moderate sized zoom, and its made of soft transparent, rubbery plastic. The thing is, I never carry it, but always have a couple sizes of trash bags and rubber bands in my bag, so when I get caught in rain or snow, that's what I use.......:)

Why so serious?

They are as durable as freezer bags and drawstring, plastic shopping bags. With a minimum amount of care they will last a long time. You'll get your $3 worth. ;) I like them better than my fancy nylon rainsleeve.

Is this a one size fits all? I can't see what happens when you have a longer lens vs shorter one?

For the cost, these are well worth it. You treat them good and they'll last you a few months. You can't go wrong for cheap protection against the rain!

I bought a couple of these last year and have used just once. They work as they are suppose to.
