What are you using to clean exterior of your camera

I hate to ask a potentially newbie question. I've been cleaning my camera with a micro fiber cloth that is just moist. Problem is you don't get in all the cracks. How are you cleaning yours? Will you compressed air on the exterior in the cracks?

When I want the exterior clean, I just go outside and shoot in the rain. Come in when I am done and dry the camera off. B)

The tiny raindrops get in the cracks. lol

On a serious note, I don't do anything special to clean the exterior.

When I get in "one of those moods", I start cleaning and cleaning like a crack addict   and it bugs me when I can't get into the cracks. You know what, I'm going to try the hobby pipe cleaners. I bet that will work just fine. Time to visit eBay!

I don't think I have never cleaned the outside of my camera. Where are you taking pictures?

You will not be judged as a photographer by the pictures you take, but by the pictures you show.

I have only ever had visible "dirt" on my D300, and that was after a day in Monument Valley,AZ. The fine red dust got really ingrained in the rubber grip, and looked quite unusual.

No cleaning required, normal wear and use and it`s as good as new and a good shower of Scottish rain really cleaned it up.

Just for the outside camera body I use qtips alone just to remove the dirt and around edges and on some cracks but gentle..No water, nothing moist, then after a white wipe down with a clean white t-shirt only just on the outside.... The inside I clean it differently...lens cleaned differently as well....
