I thought this was a good clip from Peter Eastway where he is showing shots out of the camera and then the transformation in post processing.

What I can't seem to find is what software is he using for post processing?

Interesting video. I believe you could do some saturation and shadow /highlights with most programs, my guess is he was using Photoshop.....:unsure:

He mentions Photoshop most often when discussing what his teaching programs offer, but he seems to break it down to fundamentals. I don't see anything that can't be accomplished with most photo processing software.

My guess would be layers. Setup the initial version of the image as the bottom layer, all later layers with their fade set to zero. Then fade in each layer in turn to 100%.

he probably turned down the blue saturation or the blue hue
