How do you view it?

When do you consider to be post processing?
Normally it would be when you open the photo into photoshop/lightroom and edit it.

But what if you shoot raw, and you work on the photo via photoshop or lightroom then save as jpeg.
Do you consider editing raw post processing or not?

The following link the photographer says no post processing was done, but it sure looks like it.

Since RAW conversion can be a function of the camera does that mean that RAW conversion is post processing or not?

To my mind, if it was shot in RAW and simply "converted" to jpeg, that is no post-processing. Some people believe that minor tweaks in contrast, saturation and sharpness do not constitute post-processing. Interesting claim. Our clubs' definition for competitions is that, if it "Looks" real, it goes in the regular category. If not, it goes into the "digitally altered" category.
In film, the developing and printing precess are the equivalent of post-processing.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

IMO, any photo that was taken jpeg or raw and open and edit in photoshop or any photo editing software went through post processing.

Now if the raw was simply convert to jpeg and not touched in any form or editing/enhancing then that is not post processing.
