Photography ideas

I get really stuck thinking of things to photograph. I had a friend that took a degree in photography and I said to her there was nothing around here to photograph, of course she then proceeded to run off a long list of things to take pictures of lol! So any ideas to get me started would be great!

Best advice I can give you is to just start taking photos, the photo will come to you! I just ordered a book myself on "Composition- Photo Workshop"

Just start looking at ereryday objects differently. Pictures are art and therfore are in the eye of the beholder. Have fun and try shooting pics of different objects that may be ordinary in everyday life, but make extrodianary pictures.

Yeah I could try photographing things around the house and see what happens, and I'll have a look on Amazon too for a good photography book.

I think great photos happen when you are not looking for a phot op. You can catch some amazing photos if you just carry your camera aroudn with you. Look at things a little differently, photos can be found in the strangest places. Have fun above all, becasue we all enjoy photography because it is fun. Best of luck!!

For me, just slowing down a little and looking at things and thinking about how it might look with different lighting. I'm no pro, but trying!
