Would you paint your gear or customize it?

Personally I think it looks like crap. Literally.

If someone did the work for free, maybe. I wouldn't pay for this though

It is one of those impulse decisions that I think the shooter would really regret, the more I think about the idea, the more that I don't like it!

It is what it is.

Some people just have to much time on their hands!

I like the look and would consider. But realistically I'm thinking this cost a small fortune to do.

Probably less likely to have stolen. How would you hide that? Or maybe traffic cone orange would work.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

Resale value must be interesting

Some body did a really nice job on the gear. Compare it to the bright color bodies the manufacture's are selling. don't know what kind of paint was used but auto paint doesn't scratch that easy and neither does epoxy. As far as resale value, there's probably better things to invest in, some even return more that the original cost. I've still got every lens I ever bought other than some I lost in a house fire. Same with camera's. I don't buy equipment with the though of reselling it.

I just looked at that again and have one more though. Somebody spends as much on equipment as was spent there, I guess they can do what ever they like with it. Guy did a beautiful job!

I think an all white camera would be pretty nice

Black. Black, black, black. Basic black. My camera equipment is not a fashion statement.
