Calibration of two monitors?

13 years 2 months ago #25371 by Silver Fox
Morning everyone. Over the weekend I bought another monitor which was a different manufacture than the one I had, now I have both hooked up and I can notice a big difference in the colors of each monitor. Is there a software of hardware of some sort that will calibrate both monitors to be the same?

I use two monitors. I have Spyder Pro 3 calibration software. Once you install it, it sees both monitors and will ask you which monitor you like to calibrate. Do the first one, when that is done, then you can do the 2nd monitor. I love Spyder. It's the only Spyder like. lol

How are you guys hooking up 2 monitors? Special video card or one of those USB set ups?

Would you happen to know if any desk top computer can run two monitors?

Depends on the videocard it has.
I use the Spyder Pro as well to calibrate.

I'll need to check on that, I would like to connect multiple monitors.

Yea, my desktop computer is running two monitors.

My husband used to build our computers, bought the individual parts. But now we buy the computers in store. So my current computer was bought at Best Buy. However, it did not come with a video card to support to monitors, so we had to buy a new video card.

If you go to HP website, you can custom design your computer. So you can add a video card to support two monitors and it will be like that when it gets shipped to your house.

I doubt your computer right now as the correct video card you need for two monitors. Normally computers do not come with those type of video cards. You will have to buy one and put it in.
