"Brenizer Method"

10 years 3 months ago #336051 by Karen Comella
Am I to understand that all you need to do is set a wide aperture, and snap shots in clock wise motion, then process in Photoshop in merge photo?

If that is the case, I have been trying this and I don't get the same effect that I have seen others have.  Can someone help me out with creating Brenizer Method like shots?

Thank you

This is where the google becomes very useful. Searching for "brenizer method" produces many hits. This tutorial is supposed to be pretty good.

You will, of course, post an example of your work as you progress?  We'd love to see what you do.

I haven't seen this one yet.  Very detailed.  Sure!  As soon as I figure this out and have something that is worth sharing.  So far, I keep hitting my head up against a wall trying to figure this out.  I'm going to spend some time reviewing what you posted.  Thanks again for sharing.

Interesting concept.  I have not seen this before.  So, this is used much for portraits?

I'm not sure, myself. I became aware of this last year (probably here on PT) but I don't think I see much done in this format.

It's not used a lot. Too much work if you are trying to make a living. Time equals money. It does give some cool results though.

I've tried this method and although it creates an interesting look, I just don't find it practical for those making a living behind their camera
