Rented a Canon 5D Mark III and should have for the weekend

I have just rented a 5D Mark III and should have it this weekend.  I'm thinking about buying the camera so want to test one out first.  I was just wondering if there are any rumors or indications from Canon that a new 5D IV will be announced anytime soon?  I would hate to drop the cash on this and a new version be released dropping the price of the Mark III.  I would rather wait and save some money on the Mark III.

Not that I've heard of. I think you're good to go bro.

That's the smart thing to do, rent the camera and mess around with it for a weekend and then buy.  I do that when I want to buy new lenses.  The Mark III isn't all that old yet, I would bet you have at least a couple years before Canon comes out with something to replace it.

Good idea, how much does it cost to rent a camera body for the weekend?

I'll rent lenses that I'm thinking about buying myself.  It's a smart way to see if you would even like the glass or not.  I don't think you have nothing to worry about with Canon for at least a year.

That's a nice camera, hope you have good weather to get out and use it!

Now watch Canon announce a new camera next week

Either way enjoy the camera, I think that's a good idea with renting to see if you like before you buy.
