Photography workshop: Japan or China

10 years 1 month ago #362061 by The Original Daisy
If you had the choice to travel to either one of these locations, which would you take a photo workshop in?  I only have budget for one, but want to travel to both!  China mainly because of the Great Wall, and Japan because of the snow monkeys that you see photographs siting in the hot springs.

If both cost the same, which would you go to and why?

Thanks for the help

Tuscany instead!  I just had to say that.....;)

China, exactly for the reason that you mentioned- the Great Wall.

OMG you and my husband are on the same page.  Except he was talking about Rome.  I have always wanted to travel to Japan and China, so this year, I'm getting my way.  I need to look up more details on both China and Japan.

My vote is on Japan!  I would love to visit Tokyo.

Japan. Many things are within easy reach, including both old and new Japan. China is very large, and there's no breathable air in Beijing.

I've been to China and would say Japan would be my choice.

I freakin' LIVE in China and I say Japan.

China is full of mainland Chinese... plus it's dirty. Japan all the way.

Tough call for me.  I would want to visit the Great Wall and Hong Kong, but then Japan has so much culture too.  I'd pull a coin toss for decision on this one.
