Can't believe it's mid April and it's still snowing, should be spring time!

I love snow and I live in a semi-tropical place... gosh darn it.

Appreciate the comments. My first shots when it was more red were not remotely sharp - unfortunately downright blurry. So that was disappointing to not get the images at the stage I really wanted. I had it down to about a 6 second shutter speed, and I think that was just slow enough to get some blur from the movement of both the earth and moon I suppose (even though I was using a tripod and wireless release). At the point of this pic, it was getting brighter so I was able to speed the shutter speed up quite a bit to I believe 1/6.

I was trying to keep my ISO low for noise, but in hindsight I guess some noise is better than blur. Next time around I'll crank up the ISO some more to get a more manageable shutter speed.

And living in MN, I was getting cold so finally just wanted to go back inside and curl up under the covers. :)
