Canon 5D Mark III and 1080 video

I have just started playing around with the video on my Mark III and wondering when I upload my video's they are only in 480p?  What happened to being in 1080p?  I do have my shutter speed set t 1/50.

Yes, upload to where? A hosting site may very well re-encode video to SD format.

What does your shutter speed have to do with it?
