Best way to mount photos for exhibit?

I will have my work getting showcased in our local fair and I'm not really up to speed on how to present my photos.  Ideally I'm looking for the most economic way of mounting these.  I would really appreciate any tips you can provide.

When I have done this in the past, certain guidelines where established by the Fair itself as far as size, mounting etc. What I did learn was that people like to touch the prints for some reason. So enter a copy of the print or use glass or acrylic to protect it.

If the display is temporary you can get by without having to worry about mounting on a backing. Simple mounting tape will suffice for the short term.

The above advice on requirements holds. You need to know what they expect.

That said, I like 11x14 prints under a 16x20 matte. White works better, IMO, and a simple 3/4" or 1" white frame. This can also be very economical. Aaron Brothers is having a 1 cent sale right now (for 2-3 more days).

If you have a Jerry's Artarama nearby, these can be effective on a simple wall:

And they are quite inexpensive.

:agree:
Those clip frames would be best IMO. They are inexpensive, and if it gets damaged then no harm pocketbook wise.
