Selling a print for over $10,000

I was reading an article about the most expensive prints sold by photographers. These numbers are just jaw dropping.  I'd be happy with anything over $1000.  So $10,000 would be a dream!

To sell a photo for that kind of money, where would you market it?  Sure not Stock photo sites.

$10,000 print I think would excite most photographers.  Well maybe not Peter Lik!

Those big sales you read about come from specialized art auctions.

Selling a few photos per year at $10,000 wouldn't be too bad!

Any high end art gallery in most major cities, and other affluent areas. Also as said by Ben high end auction houses.
