Hey all, I'm converting a part of my garage into a studio and have bare concrete for my floor.  What is the best paint to use?

Wouldn't you want to go with a matte white?

Make sure the paint you are using for the floor is different and more durable than the wall. I'm near certain you will want to use a primer and sealer on the floor before you paint final coating

I think I'd go with a few different throw rugs.

The problem with that is concrete sweats and rugs will get this off smell after long.

You can get epoxy-base sealants that resist even oil (from cars), and that come in a variety of colors and styles. General garage floor stuff. I'd consider one of those for its toughness before I used paint.

Then I'd use a throw rug for mood and warmth. And change it out as necessary.

:agree:    epoxy-base will be best for the floor and most durable.

As well.
You can get it in a tintable base and pick your color. You can even get a green screen color if you want, and then cover it with a rug, or even paper when needed. You will want a matte finish either way, or it could be too slick when using either. Well unless you back tape it well.

Build a false floor with 24's and 1/2" plywood. Do it in 4x8 sections and when not in use you can lean it against the wall. I would allow you to change the floor to what ever you want in minute's.
