To elaborate: a camera with wireless capability can be used to create an ad hoc network with a mobile phone and transfer images to the phone. Where they could then be uploaded, no matter your location. Or the camera could connect to a wifi network.
But yes, it is awfully convenient to upload all of those crappy mobile phone photos to social media. No doubt about that.

I agree. I don't have any farcebook, tweeter mystrife, etc and never will. I also would never post an unprocessed photo anywhere. I like having a few "secrets". We are certainly of a different generation.....
