Because HDR doesn't require the use of multiple exposures nor special tools or processing. I was simply admiring the wide dynamic range of the image, wherein detail can be seen across the tonal range. HDR can apply to a single shot.
I guess we will have to disagree on this one. HDR refers to an image that has more dynamic range than can be captured with the camera used. That is the definition. HDR can not be a single shot. Yes, you can do various things to simulate an HDR look with tone mapping and the like, which I didn't even do that on this image. People call a certain look like an illustrative look HDR and that just isn't so. I'm a little surprised that you feel this way about HDR when you are such a stickler about equivalency in focal lengths, etc. Folks can call it HDR if they want, but by definition it's not.garyrhook wrote:
