Photoshop CS6 vs CC

So I finally took the plunge and "upgraded" to Photoshop CC & holy..... is it slow. Things that I know used to take second seem to drag on or get stuck completely. I was wondering if you all are experiencing the same sort of issues? or maybe have some hidden tweak somewhere.

I am willing to bet that it is due to what the traffic on the server at the time. One of the many reasons that I am not a do everything on the cloud. I know that does not help, but I am not going to CC ever. I will switch over totally to Paintshop Pro first.

Personally I didn't want to change either but there are some new features in CC that CS doesn't have so I figured I would give it a shot. Unless you have to I would stay away!!!

I'm still using Photoshop CS3 and I am very satisfied.  I guess I will eventually move to CC; but I am not looking forward to another learning curve.  It's kind of "fun" learning luminosity masking with CS3!

Not experiencing that at all. It's just as fast as any earlier versions I have used. You may need to change some of the settings related to graphics cards in your preferences if you have a standard video card. CC rocks as far as I'm concerned.

No change in speed for me either. I went from LR 5 to CC. the program still resides on our HD so there should not be any "server" issues as the only time that happens is when they do a monthly check to make sure your account is paid up to date. There must be something else going on. There really isn't much that CC has that CS 6 doesn't  except that CC gets the updates faster...

I'm a subscriber and still have PS5 loaded and CC is just as fast. Maybe go to the Adobe site and toss the question out, see if anyone there has a clue?

Why so serious?
