Security guard grabbed my camera

I have to agree and say that staying calm is the best response in that sort of situation. You didn't do anything wrong that I can tell from the account you provided, but it's best to choose your battles (and it doesn't sound like that guard or whoever hired him were especially welcoming or flexible). 9 times out of 10 getting involved in a fight results in a conflict rather than a solution.

I would have grabbed his hand and gave him my 2 cents on respecting and knowing boundaries.

A bad day at the race track is better than a good day in the office

I'm with everyone else here.  Assuming you were on public property and things happened as you stated, this security guard was way off.

Honestly, that guy over reacted. If you weren't trespassing, breaking in, damaging or doing anything ilegal: It shouldn't have been a problem. Next time, get the cops there and fight for your right to shoot without hurting or endangering anything or anyone.

Not going to happen with me.  I'm a pretty big guy and he would need to think twice before laying a hand on me.
