I haven't made much from stock in some time.  Is anyone having any luck with selling your stock photos?

Which stock websites still have a good market for photographers?

Stock is dead. It's not worth the time and effort anymore unless you have specialty niche.

I steer clear of stock work. Effort is not proportionate to income.

It's not dead.  Hardly.  Are any photographers making money with  it?  Unless you have hundreds of thousands of photos, doubtful.

A good friend of mine use to make a good living from stock photography, she's now doing weddings and corporate events because her earnings from stock dried up.

I love that one. I think that dog became a speed bump in the road a longtime ago too.

Dead, no, but it's not going to make you a living. A very select and established few are commissioned for this sort of work and paid well above average, which is how the industry continues to exist.

I remember the good old days, I knew of people who had single photos that would yield enough to cover their house payments.  These days you are lucky to cover the cost of a single stick of gum!
