Have you seen this new 3D Flex flash?

I heard about these guys from a friend.  Interesting design.  Video shows these being printed by 3D printer.   3dflexflash.com/about.html

I'm wondering how this will differ from my Rogue Flash bender?

That is so cool.  Man they can make anything from those printers these days.   Must be a new company, never heard of these guys.

I'd be curious on the fit.  Many flash difuser heads are iff'y at best with how they fit.  My Gary Fong is the worst IMO.

Gary Fong doesn't fit well & loses lots of light.

Well it's sure flexible.  Which I like because most flash diffusers are big and bulky and take up too much space.

I wonder how durable that is after it's been crushed a few times and pulled back out

Cool if it bounces back to shape every time.

Heck they can print guns these days from printers.  This is the first photography related product I've seen made from a 3D printer.  I'm almost curious what other photography related gear are printed from a 3D printer.

Is anyone printing camera bodies from a 3D printer?

Got my vote    especially if it's light weight and stays on the flash!

Their video shows it being folded up and and stuffed into a bag.  I wonder how long of doing that, with it bounce back into shape?  :toetap:

Killer idea though! :beerbang:
