Best way to pose with a car

7 years 2 months ago #517482 by Owen
I have a client who has 2 wives.  His human wife and his 1965 Mustang.  They've hired me to take photos and he wants to use his car as a prop.

Any tips?

None from me, I'm a Camaro guy.....
Anyway, make sure there are NO pics with the human wife sitting behind the wheel....:P

I'd experiment with poses. Maybe have her sit on the hood of the car? Or try shooting through the car window? Take a drive to somewhere scenic and it'll be hard to go wrong.

Love Camaros also, especially the RS SS. I will admit though that my dream car back in the day was a butterscotch color 1970 Boss 302 Mustang like Parnelli Jones drove on the Trans Am circuit. I didn't do too bad though, I drove a custom built 1967 GTO "show car" in high school. It had a 400 bored 0.40 over. It had 4 bucket seats and a console that went from front to rear. Wished I had that baby now.

I've had two Camaros, a '71, 350, auto, pretty nice, but my jet black '69, 396, manual is the one I miss. I bought it after a minor accident, restored to perfection, then offered more than I could refuse so I sold it ......(A near five thousand dollar profit)
It was going to get me in trouble anyway.

OP, Sorry about the thread theft, I'll bug out now....

Yes sorry about the hi-jack. Go to a bookstore and look at car magazines. See if there are some poses/ideas you can use.

LMAO!!!

7 years ago, my wife backed my '62 Jag out of the garage and accidentally clipped the right front fender.  We still joke about that to this day.
