Was just reading a little about this camera.  What a beast!  So is this the replacement to the a7?

That camera is SICK!!  Sony is really bringing some cool tech to market here.  The sports peeps must be :drool:  over this camera.

I doubt many sports shooters are yet. There is no big glass to support a switch at this time. Eventually they will get there and this is the first step even though I think it's backwards. I think the glass should come first, then the body. Working pros at this time with Nikon or Canon have a ton of money invested in big, fast glass. It's cost prohibitive for them to switch. It's good that Sony is pushing the boundaries. I never believed they would do as well as they have done. Good job Sony! Nikon and Canon need to wake up!

You sure about that?  Sony and Zeiss have tons of glass they have released during the last few years for their a7 line up.
