Is there any way possible to make one camera see what the other one does?

G'day Craig

You can certainly WiFi from a camera to a computer - and there are ways to record what's seen on the computer screen

Good question, I've been wanting to learn how to record what you see from a cameras viewfinder.  You  know showing the grid and exposure settings.

I don't suppose there is a way for this?  OP is this what you are talking about?

G'day JM

It is certainly possible to shoot thru a camera viewfinder to record the image that the eye sees ... it is done by people creating training manuals to save hours of graphic-arts time to draw up a 'copy' of the viewfinder image

Here's an image thru a Pentax ...

and
Here's a view thru a Fuji ...

Technically - not difficult, takes very careful setting up but not difficult when compared with other things

ps- with an mirrorless with EVF & rear screen, there's no reason to shoot thru the eyepiece as the rear screen is a full copy of the EVF anyway ... just shoot the rear screen and you get all the visual info!

Hope this helps

In other words, you'll have to fake it. What you (seem to) want to do can't be done.
