So, I took about 200 shots yesterday in my first excursion into street photography.  It was not as easy as it sounded.  First thing I noticed was there are two kinds of people shots.  Ones you get OF THEM cuz they don't see you or notice and ones you get where you captured their eyes seeing you capture them.  In the them seeing you catagory, men cared less or were more oblivious, women gave me  more "what are you doing taking my photo for. I don't know you" kind of looks.

Also, taking pictures while walking does not work.  When I came to a complete stop to take the shot, they came out much better.  Even though I had to be quick when I saw something cuz your whole environment is moving all the time, I also had to slow down.  Be patient.

I have not used shudder speed controls yet

Taking pictures while walking certainly can work. But you do need an extra wide angle (much less precise framing) and a quicker shutter speed. Just do not expect a high keeper rate. Shooting while walking is borderline random photography.
