Did you own the HERO6 and find enough reasons to upgrade to the HERO7?

Did you find the 7 lived up to the marketing hype?

That should help you out.  Other than that, not much has changed.  They both are 12MP, use the same battery, charger and just about look the same IMO.

Bro, the image stabilization in the HERO7 is the best and kicks the crap out of the HERO6 just for that alone!

I really wish these cameras with maintain a little bit of their value. But the seven does look really nice with that image stabilization.

What they need to do is either improve the mic, or allow external mics.  Then that would be an incredible difference.  But it's the image stabilization.

Done, ordered she's on its way.  I'll have it Friday.  Which means, new toy Friday!  I wonder if my wife will be ticketed off if I bring it with me to our dinner date on Friday night?

You might want to pick up a handle for it if you don't have one already.

Not much you can do with such little space.  Adding external mic would compromise waterproof rating.

If you have the 6, you'll notice a big difference in the stabilization with the 7.

10000% agree, the HERO7 is light years ahead of prior gopro image stabilization!  That's the big win for it IMHO.
