How to destroy a Nikon D850 camera

4 years 11 months ago #643639 by Jeff Scott
You Tube just shared this video with me.  Fstoppers was making a video to talk about some filters and a wave came up behind the guy and gave him and his camera a bath in salt water.

Salt water is brutal!

That hurt to watch!

I can't image though that the camera is 100% destroyed.  Likely just the battery.

I am sorry for the camera but, if it
dies that will all be the guy's fault!

Light is free… capturing it is not!

Camera and tripod, that salt water can't be good for those legs on that tripod .

Well they had a good attitude about it.  I wonder if the camera was insured?

That sucks.  I'm curious if they were able to get it working after it sat for a little while with the battery out? With just that one wave, and seeing that it wasn't submerged, it shouldn't have any water inside.  I would guess just the battery got the water?
