What's the hardest part of running a photography business?

I have a big vision for my photography once I get good enough.  So I've been working on my craft and looking at one day starting a photography business.  You can say I'm doing my homework right now.

So for you, what do you feel has been the hardest part of running a photography  business?

Anything you would have done differently?

Thanks in advance!

I love to tackle all the aspects of the trade… except
the book keeping that I find so extremely boring.

Doing your homework now is very wise, chapeau!

Light is free… capturing it is not!

Yeah, thank you.  I know I have a ways to go.  But people on this board have been so helpful, I decided to throw this out there and see if I can get some nuggets that would help lay out my future.

Understanding that it's about business, not photography.

Delivering a product, meeting customer expectations, working with people, handling people. The photograph is typically about 10% of the work, even if it's the most fun part.

Photography is easy.  Finding people to pay you for it is hard.
