The Kickstarter page FAQ states they expect to complete shipping by the end of December. You can still pre-order from the page:

B&H carries other PD products. Can't imagine why they wouldn't carry this, too.

Would be cool to see available and shipping before Christmas.  My wife wants one of these.  As for me, I'm after a RRS or Pro Media gear tripod.  Hopefully they do something with the price too.
