Hats that photographers wear when outdoors?

+1 on the baseball cap as well.  Sounds like an echo.

I'm with Gary on this one.  Personally I don't give a rats @#$ what others think.  So I wear my hats backwards and own it.

I always prefer baseball hats while photographing. It is great for me because I could place it on backwards when shooting so that it can’t interfere. Try to wear broad brimmed cap with SPF 45 sun block.

I didn't wear hats when younger, but I had a "cancer" burned (frozen) off my face as well as a biopsy last week from over exposure to our star, so now I use a cap on even cloudy days....My dermatologist zaps me every year now, it seems.

Also.....Breathing refers to the shifting of angle of view of a lens when changing the focus. Some (often higher quality) lenses are designed to lessen the degree of this effect. Lens breathing does not prevent one from racking focus or following focus with this lens, but it lessens the desirability of any type of focus adjustment, since it noticeably changes the composition of the shot.[1] This is not to be confused with the suction and expulsion of air from within the lens as its internal volume changes.

Only time I wear a hat is when I go fishing or doing yard work.  I hate wearing a hat when I'm out shooting.
